Baseball Recap: Elsinore Tigers vs. Temescal Canyon Titans
Elsinore came out on top against Temescal Canyon on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Tigers walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Titans. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Titans back in March, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.
Andrew Jimenez was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
In other pitching news, Elsinore got a great performance from Brayden Stankus as he struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.
