Basketball Recap: Dinwiddie Triumphs

Dinwiddie lost to Mecklenburg County back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Dinwiddie Generals walked away with a 68-59 win over the Mecklenburg County Phoenix.

Dinwiddie's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Mecklenburg County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.

Dinwiddie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-29 loss against Powhatan on the 3rd. As for Mecklenburg County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bassett at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
