Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Ysleta

Riverside is 2-8 against Ysleta since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rangers will look to defend their home pitch against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Riverside headed into their last match having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Fabens let them put that streak behind them. The Rangers never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Friday. Riverside haven't had any issues with Fabens recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Ysleta hadn't done well against San Elizario recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 1-0.

Ysleta's win bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Riverside, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
