Basketball Recap: Stowe Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Stowe and White River Valley squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Stowe had to settle for second. They had to suffer through an 87-34 loss at the hands of the White River Valley Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Vermont basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd in Vermont, while the Wildcats are ranked eighth in Vermont).

Stowe has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. The win keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.

As of now, neither Stowe nor White River Valley have any future games scheduled.
