On Thursday Ava Barnes tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The performance marked the fewest hits Barnes has had over her last six contests. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her seventh in a row with less than one walk. This year, she has an ERA of 3.29 over 17 innings pitched.
