Softball Recap: Christ Presbyterian Academy Comes Up Short

Christ Presbyterian Academy lost against Chattanooga Christian on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Chargers, falling 13-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nealy McCluskey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Townsend, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Christ Presbyterian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Chattanooga Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-10.

While Christ Presbyterian Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
