Recap: Randolph County Tigers vs. Ranburne Bulldogs
The Randolph County Tigers lost against the Ranburne Bulldogs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Randolph County received a tough blow as they fell 48-34 to Ranburne. Randolph County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brantlee Wortham, who scored 15 points. Talee Sims was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds.
Randolph County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Ranburne, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.
Randolph County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Beulah at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Beulah will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Ranburne will take on Bowdon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Bowdon is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
