Football Game Preview: Alvirne vs. Hollis-Brookline

Alvirne will take on Hollis-Brookline at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Alvirne are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.

Alvirne might be getting used to good results now that the team has five wins in a row. They got past Stark with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 12-6.

Hollis-Brookline came within a touchdown against Souhegan last Friday, but wound up with a 28-35 loss.

Alvirne's victory lifted them to 6-1 while Hollis-Brookline's defeat dropped them down to 4-3. We'll find out if Alvirne can add another positive mark to their record or if Hollis-Brookline can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Alvirne's step.
