Athens had won two straight home games and Ava Bee did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Athens Warriors took down the Olympia Spartans 55-38 thanks in part to Bee, who went 8-for-13 en route to 20 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Athens' win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Olympia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 16 of their last 18 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-24 record this season.

Coming up, Athens will welcome Williamsville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Olympia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
