Laurel-Concord-Coleridge strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Wakefield Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19.

Rena Rasmussen paced Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's offense, picking up 11 kills. Rasmussen got some help from Carlie Kvols and her 20 assists. Kaida Eriksen and Hattie Mccorkindale kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Wakefield, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Wynot on the 25th. As for Wakefield, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Tri County Northeast on the 29th.
