The Milford Spartans will head out to square off against the Merrimack Valley The Pride at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Milford took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They slipped by Lebanon 30-29. The 30-point effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Merrimack Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Bishop Brady, posting a 69-37 victory. The game marked the The Pride's most dominant win of the season so far.

Merrimack Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Milford, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Milford beat Merrimack Valley 53-42 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Milford since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
