Basketball Recap: Addison Trail Comes Up Short

Addison Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. The game between the Blazers and the Elk Grove Grenadiers didn't end well, with the Blazers falling 46-30. The Blazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grenadiers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Elk Grove's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamie Wirtz, who posted 13 points. Those 13 points gave Wirtz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaleah Blake, who earned 11 points.

Addison Trail's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Elk Grove, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Addison Trail will challenge Leyden at 6:30 p.m. on December 1. This will be the Blazers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Elk Grove, they will face off against Larkin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
