On Friday, the Cypress Christian Warriors made easy work of the Kelly Catholic Bulldogs and carried off a 45-23 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Kelly Catholic lost, don't look at Mattie Holmes. Despite the final result, she posted ten points. That was a full 43.5% of Kelly Catholic's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Avery Redmon was another key player, putting up two points and three steals.

Cypress Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Kelly Catholic, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-14.
