Football Recap: Arbor View Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Lincoln + How To Watch

Arbor View is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Lincoln. The Aggies took a 50-31 bruising from the Hornets. The Aggies' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Several Aggies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Woods, who picked up 134 receiving yards and one touchdown. Jayden Williams was in the mix too, providing Arbor View with two scores.

Lincoln got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rashad Robinson out in front who rushed for 224 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.4 yards per carry. Robinson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 148 every time he's taken the field this season. Junior Curtis also helped out as he racked up 183 rushing yards.

Arbor View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lincoln, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Arbor View will head out on the road to square off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln, they will challenge Mission Viejo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,058 yards in their previous games.
