Basketball Recap: Melrose-Mindoro Gets the Win

Melrose-Mindoro lost to Pepin/Alma back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs rang in the new year with a 58-45 win over Pepin/Alma.

Melrose-Mindoro's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Pepin/Alma, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Melrose-Mindoro will take on Eleva-Strum at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Eleva-Strum will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Melrose-Mindoro surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pepin/Alma, they will challenge Augusta at 7:15 p.m. on January 14th.
