Basketball Recap: Southview Christian Gets the Win

Southview Christian posted their closest win since November 12, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Victory Christian Cardinals 39-37. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-34 back in December of 2024.

Victory Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Smith, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Marissa Sloan, who had six points and seven rebounds.
