Basketball Recap: Cape Henry Collegiate Comes Up Short

Cape Henry Collegiate was the 59-45 winner over Maury when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins took a blow against the Maury Commodores on Saturday, falling 70-40. The match marked the Dolphins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cape Henry Collegiate and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Maury, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape Henry Collegiate will head out to face off against Benedictine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maury, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Manor at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th.
