Beavercreek posted their biggest victory since February 14, 2024 on Wednesday. They breezed by the Northmont Thunderbolts to the tune of 62-20. Given the Beavers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 186th, while the Thunderbolts are ranked 539th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Beavercreek is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Northmont, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Beavercreek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-45 win against Wayne on the 25th. As for Northmont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-47 loss against Springfield on the 25th.
