Basketball Recap: Billerica Memorial Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Billerica Memorial unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lowell Red Raiders on Tuesday. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Billerica Memorial will be home for the holidays to greet Westford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lowell, they are taking a road trip to take on North Andover at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
