Basketball Game Preview: Hancock Central Bulldogs vs. Warren County Screaming Devils

The Hancock Central Bulldogs and the Warren County Screaming Devils will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Hancock Central will be strutting in after a victory while Warren County will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Hancock Central turned things around against Jefferson County on Friday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 46-34.

Hancock Central can attribute much of their success to Sonovia Reynolds, who posted 14 points, and Jaliyah Hargrove, who earned 11 points. Hargrove continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Danyia Thomas, who had six points.

Meanwhile, Warren County played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 65-21 loss at the hands of Washington County. The game marked the Screaming Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Warren County's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hancock Central, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.
