Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies Mustangs. Even if the Trail Blazers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 19-17. As for Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-23.

Central has already played their next game, a 6-3 loss against Grosse Pointe North on the 19th. As for Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies, they will be playing at home against Lincoln-King Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th.
