Softball Recap: Loudonville Comes Up Short

Loudonville lost against Fredericktown last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Redbirds came up short against the Freddies, falling 21-3. The Redbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loudonville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Helaina Gray, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Loudonville's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Fredericktown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Loudonville will square off against rival Cardington-Lincoln at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Fredericktown is set to face off against their familiar foe East Knox at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
