Baseball Recap: Janesville Parker Takes a Loss

Janesville Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Madison West Regents. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Vikings have suffered since April 11th.

Janesville Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Madison West, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-15.

Janesville Parker has already played their next game (against Deerfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Madison West, they will take on Vel Phillips Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Regents' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
