Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

After flying high against City Arts and Leadership Academy on Tuesday, Washington came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Lowell Cardinals by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Washington in their meetings with Lowell: they've now lost five in a row.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-2. As for Lowell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Washington will host San Francisco International at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lowell, they will head out on the road to take on City Arts and Leadership Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
