Basketball Recap: Preuss UCSD Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Preuss UCSD was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Maranatha Christian Eagles, falling 76-31. The Tritons lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in December of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 69-54 score last time.

Maranatha Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Ralston out in front who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 21 rebounds. The contest was Ralston's seventh in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dash Ekeroth, who went 7-for-11 from beyond the arc on his way to 27 points along with six steals and five boards.

Preuss UCSD's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Maranatha Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Preuss UCSD will face off against Health Sciences at 4:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Maranatha Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Augustine at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
