Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee Falls Despite Big Games from Isabella Podesta and Kennadi Peterson

Chattahoochee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Forsyth Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13.

Kennadi Peterson and Isabella Podesta certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Peterson had 14 digs and one assist, while Podesta had five digs and two assists.

Chattahoochee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for West Forsyth, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Chattahoochee has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Mountain View on the 21st. As for West Forsyth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Brookwood on the 21st.
