Basketball Recap: Medina Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Medina Christian Academy managed to keep up with Independence until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Medina Christian Academy Knights had to suffer through a 77-48 loss at the hands of the Independence Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 75-50 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Medina Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Independence, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Medina Christian Academy will take on Open Door Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Medina Christian Academy is facing Open Door Christian at the right time seeing as Open Door Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Independence, they will face off against Trinity at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
