Basketball Recap: Front Range Baptist Takes a Loss

Front Range Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Caliche Buffaloes 66-20. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-10.

Despite the loss, Front Range Baptist saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hadyn Woods posted 12 points and five assists. Those 12 points gave Woods a new career-high.

Front Range Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Caliche, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Front Range Baptist didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 38-29 loss against Front Range Christian on the 16th. As for Caliche, they will be playing at home against Fleming at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Caliche has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 183 points over their last three games.
