            Basketball Recap: Frontier STEM vs. Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            Frontier STEM was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a   58-31 loss at the hands of the Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri Crusaders. While losing is never fun, Frontier STEM can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings  (they are ranked 585th, while Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri is ranked 134th).
  Phil Basola was  his usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 17 points and 12  boards for Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri. Basola has been hot, having  posted eight or more  rebounds the last five times he's  played.  Jimmy Schleeter was another key player,  putting up eight  points along with eight  boards and five  steals.
Frontier STEM's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
 Frontier STEM will take on Guadalupe Centers at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri, they won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against St. Vincent de Paul Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2  points per game  this season.
