Baseball Game Preview: V.R. Eaton Eagles vs. Trinity Trojans

For the second straight game, V.R. Eaton will face off against Trinity. The Eagles will welcome the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (V.R. Eaton 3.5, Trinity 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Friday, V.R. Eaton didn't have quite enough to beat Trinity and fell 5-4. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hayden Sawyers was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Masen Malone, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

With the victory, Trinity broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-7-2. As for V.R. Eaton, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.
