Pine Forest piles up the points against Western Harnett

There's no place like home for the Pine Forest Trojans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Western Harnett 52-12 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Pine Forest has managed all season.

Leading Pine Forest to victory were Daisha Washington and Chloe Wilson. Washington scored six points along with eight steals and seven assists, while Wilson scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Washington continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Armoni Campbell was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.

Pine Forest's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10. As for Western Harnett, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Pine Forest will head out on the road to challenge the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Terry Sanford presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Trojans in North Carolina (the Bulldogs are ranked 35th, while the Trojans are ranked 226th). As for Western Harnett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
