Volleyball Recap: Rialto Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

While Rialto's victory against Jurupa Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Spartans on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won three matches in a row.

Rialto wouldn't go down easily and took Jurupa Hills into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 23-25, 23-25, 15-9.

Rialto's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Jurupa Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rialto will challenge Rim of the World at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jurupa Hills, they will face off against Fontana at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
