Palatine typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Barrington proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fillies/Broncos.

Barrington never let Palatine on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22.

Kalyn Brookbank paced Barrington's offense, picking up 15 kills. Brookbank got some help from Eve Adler and her 22 assists. Kinley Schinhoster controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Barrington's win bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Palatine, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 26-7.

Barrington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palatine, they will challenge Elk Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
