Basketball Recap: Carrollton's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Carrollton had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They secured a 49-45 W over the Trinity Christian Lions on Tuesday. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Carrollton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Trinity Christian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Carrollton will venture away from home to challenge Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th. As for Trinity Christian, they will host Upson-Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Upson-Lee has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 219 points over their last three matches.
