Nazareth's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Springlake-Earth Wolverines get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The Swifts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Lincoln Pohlmeier was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reid Backus, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Nazareth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .528 or higher in eight consecutive games.

Nazareth pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Springlake-Earth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nazareth will face off against Forsan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Springlake-Earth, they will challenge Petersburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
