Softball Recap: Zion Chapel Takes a Loss

Zion Chapel came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots, falling 8-2. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 4-2.

Zion Chapel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Rhodes, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

With the defeat, Zion Chapel broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for Pike Liberal Arts, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9.
