Football Game Preview: Maplesville Red Devils vs. Keith Bears + How To Watch

Maplesville is a perfect 4-0 against Keith since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Red Devils will face off against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Maplesville has seven straight victories, Keith has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Maplesville's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Billingsley 42-0. Fans of the Red Devils have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Pearce Yeargan was his usual excellent self, throwing for 104 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 6-for-6 passing, while also rushing for 44 yards and one score. What's more, he racked up 177.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Yeargan was just one part of a punishing run game: Maplesville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Billingsley only rushed for -36.

Meanwhile, Keith had to suffer through a 58-12 loss at the hands of Autauga Academy.

Maplesville's record now sits at 7-0. As for Keith, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Maplesville against Keith in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-6 win. In that contest, the Red Devils amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
