Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Miami

Miami made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Northwestern, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Miami Stingarees put the hurt on the Northwestern Bulls with a sharp 19-4 win on Tuesday. Fans of the Stingarees have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami will welcome Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Miami knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Edison likes a good challenge. As for Northwestern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Northwestern is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
