Helix had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Monte Vista on Tuesday. Everything went the Helix Highlanders' way against the Monte Vista Monarchs as the Helix Highlanders made off with a 70-48 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Highlanders sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Helix's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-16. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Monte Vista, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season.
