Volleyball Recap: Ontario Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Ontario won the last time they faced Wynford and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Royals by a score of 3-1.

Ontario had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-5, 25-13, 25-16.

Piper Studer was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 24 assists and 12 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September. Morgan Pearson was another key player, getting 17 assists and four digs.

Ontario was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in five consecutive contests.

Ontario is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Wynford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
