Volleyball Game Preview: Buckeye Hawks vs. Verrado Vipers

Buckeye hasn't had much luck against Verrado recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Buckeye not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11th. Everything went their way against Youngker as Buckeye made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Roughriders: they've now won five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Verrado came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1.

Verrado was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 17-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Verrado's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Buckeye, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
