The matchup between Gibraltar and Algoma on Saturday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Vikings skirted past the Wolves 10-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Saturday.

The victory made it two in a row for Gibraltar and bumps their season record up to 2-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Algoma, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Gibraltar will challenge Xavier at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Algoma, they will face off against Mishicot at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
