Softball Recap: Bob Hope Comes Up Short

Bob Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-1 to the Spurger Pirates. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Bob Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Spurger, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4-1.

Bob Hope has already played their next matchup (against Zavalla), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Spurger, they will take on Good Samaritan HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Good Samaritan HomeSchool will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Spurger surely won't give up without a fight.
