Football Recap: Port Jervis Picks Up Tenth Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Port Jervis strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They really took it to the New Paltz Huguenots for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-7 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.

Port Jervis was led to victory by Dylan Fox and Amato Natale. Fox threw for 276 yards and five touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, while Natale gained 238 total yards and two touchdowns. Thanks to that big game, Fox is now up to 16 passing touchdowns on the season.

Port Jervis' record now sits at 5-0. As for New Paltz, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Jervis will take on Marlboro Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dukes will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for New Paltz, they will challenge Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
