Soccer Game Preview: Plymouth vs. Northridge

Plymouth hasn't had much luck against Northridge recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Pilgrims/Rockies will look to defend their home pitch against the Raiders at 12:45 p.m.

Plymouth is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Concord on Tuesday. The Pilgrims/Rockies took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minutemen. While losing is never fun, Plymouth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Concord are ranked eighth).

Chris Rosas and Parker Hansen scored all three of Plymouth's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Northridge was forced to settle for a draw. They and South Bend Adams finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

Northridge's draw gives them a new season record of 7-5-1. As for Plymouth, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-3.
