Softball Recap: Person Comes Up Short

Person was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-8 to the Roxboro Community Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 back in March.

Person saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzley Horne, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Person's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Roxboro Community, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Person will face off against Oxford Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roxboro Community, they will host Voyager Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
