Basketball Recap: Calhoun Academy Comes Up Short

Calhoun Academy suffered their closest defeat since January 7th on Friday. They fell just short of the Columbus Christian Academy rams by a score of 35-32. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the rams this season, with their most recent loss being a 49-46 defeat back in January.

Calhoun Academy's loss dropped their record down to 25-12. As for Columbus Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Calhoun Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-36 win against Delta Academy on the 8th. As for Columbus Christian Academy, they will challenge Calhoun Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
