Football Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Beats Burgettstown for Their Third Straight Win

Jefferson-Morgan put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Burgettstown Blue Devils 26-10. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Deakyn Dehoet, who picked up 150 receiving yards and one TD.

Jefferson-Morgan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of John Woodward and Liam Rogers. Woodward got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Jefferson-Morgan's record is now 3-0. As for Burgettstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Jefferson-Morgan has already played their next match, a 63-6 victory against Mapletown on the 12th. As for Burgettstown, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-13 loss against Cornell on the 12th.
