Smithson Valley lost against Pieper back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Smithson Valley Rangers fell 2-0 to the Pieper Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Rangers as the squad haven't won a game since January 4th.

Smithson Valley's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 0-1-3 and their overall record down to 2-4-4. As for Pieper, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Smithson Valley will head out to challenge New Braunfels at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. New Braunfels will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Smithson Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pieper, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boerne-Champion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boerne-Champion's last eight contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
