Gardner-Edgerton entered their tilt with Topeka on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trailblazers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2018.

Gardner-Edgerton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Arel out in front who had 13 assists and four digs. Arel is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Gardner-Edgerton's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Topeka, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Gardner-Edgerton has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Eudora on the 27th. As for Topeka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Blue Valley Southwest on the 27th.
